Reading Your Gas Meter
SiEnergy will be happy to provide you with instructions on how to read your gas meter. Contact us at 281-778-6250

Excess Flow Valve
Excess flow valves are safety devices that will shut off the gas flow through your yard line in case it is damaged or cut. We currently include this feature on all of our standard installations for your safety.

Customer Yard lines
SiEnergy has pipe in your yard that supplies you and your neighbors with natural gas. These pipes are made of polyethylene which can be damaged while installing trees and shrubs, sprinkler systems, fence posts, pools and other additions to your yard. When damage occurs, natural gas can be released into the immediate vicinity and become extremely dangerous. In order to protect you, your contractors and your property from harm SiEnergy will locate our underground pipes at your request. Simply call the One Call System of Texas at 1800-545-6005. Failure to call before you dig is unlawful and if damage occurs can result in serious injury or death.

Customer Requests for Meter Tests
Upon your request, SiEnergy will test the accuracy of your meter. We will inform you of the place and time of the test so that you or your representative may be present. We will do it without charge if no such test has been performed within the previous four years for you at the same location. Otherwise we will charge you a fee. (If the meter test indicates that the meter test is more than nominally defective, the fee will be refunded. More than nominally defective means a deviation of more than 2.0% from accurate registration.) An adjustment may be made to your account reflecting a change or credit dependent on whether the meter under registered or over registered.
